Wandering for seemingly endless days in the forest, Alice was about to give up looking for signs of life. She began to remember what it was like back home, and wondering why she ran away. The sound of music and laughing could be heard in the distance; Alice sprinted towards the noise. Stopping mid stride to view the brightly lit cottage, she couldn’t help but want to dance with the music that was thumping out the windows. Alice flung open the door to the cottage to see the most lively tea party ever.
Everyone had their own tea jug in hand, and large vats on the wall that were Plainly labeled “Green, Black, Red, and Oolong” Everyone was laughing and drinking tea wildly. A few people were crowd surfing, and a few were sitting properly by the wall, scribbling in notebooks. Just then, Alice was greeted by 3 women who promptly cleaned her up, did her hair, and placed a jug of tea in her hand. One of the girls said “Here, you are popular” And smiled cheerfully. Someone in the crowd yelled “Alice is here!” and everyone yelled… “ALICE!”
The hours flew by, and everyone was happily talking to Alice, singing, drinking tea, and she made plenty of friends, and enjoyed being the center of attention. The tea flowed and popularity grew more and more on Alice, which she soaked up.
Suddenly, the music stopped. Everyone looked to the front door, and there stood Rufio! He asked “Am I late?” the crowd yelled “NO!” In reply. Alice thought she saw someone by his side, but the hands that were thrown up in celebration blocked her view. Rufio walked through the crowd, adding a type of syrup that sweetened the tea. The crowd’s attention now on Rufio; Alice made her way to him. Walking through the people, they gave each other a big hug and he promptly poured some sweetener into her tea. They exchanged a smile for a moment, but the expression on Alice’s face sank when she saw a woman dressed in black by his side. Rufio, seeing Alice’s face, quickly snapped “Oh! How rude of me, this is my girlfriend… Treasure!” Treasure stared hatefully at Alice and asked sharply “How did you find your way HERE?!”
Feeling betrayed and ashamed, Alice dropped her tea jug, and flung the door open and yelling “I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!” The crowd roared “Alice! Don’t leave!” Alice ran toward a large city she saw in the distance…
